Research interests
Investigation, taxonomy, phylogenetics and ecology of Aspergillus, Penicillium and common moulds. Reserching on the ecological function of moulds in different environments, and their evolutionary mechanisms.

Research Results

1. population diversity of A. fumigates sensu lato

Three populations inferred from the combined sequence data of CaM and cnB before clone-correction. Columns on X- axis representing isolates, Y-axis representing membership coefficient of isolates to different populations. Red, green and blue color indicationg A. fumigatus population, A. phialiseptus population and A. neoellipticus, respectively.

2. One new taxon of Penicillium discovered

P. kongii at 25 C, after 7 d: A. Colonies on CA. B. Colonies on CYA. C. Colonies on MEA. D. Colonies on YES.

P. kongii: A–D. Penicilli. E. Conidia. Bar = 10 µm.
