研究方向

    研究方向为重要微生物多糖的生物合成及功能研究。

研究领域

    以重要微生物为模式种,应用功能基因组学、糖生物学、糖链代谢酶的生化与分子生物学手段研究其多糖、糖基化的生物合成途径及其生物学功能。目前开展的研究工作包括:(1)条件致病真菌糖链合成相关的功能基因组学研究,通过分离、鉴定及功能分析来阐明真菌糖蛋白的糖基化修饰在真菌生长和感染过程中的作用;(2)病原细菌胞外多糖的生物合成及功能分析。通过对链球菌、大肠杆菌等病原菌胞外多糖合成相关基因的研究阐明其生物合成途径及胞外多糖对感染的影响;(3)古菌糖蛋白生物合成途径及重要基因/酶的分离。

    近5年来,主持国家自然科学基金课题2项、973子课题2项和863专题1项。已经培养6名博士、5名硕士,正在指导博士研究生10名。1997年以来发表论文30篇,其中在“European Journal of Biochemistry”、“Journal of Biological Chemistry”、“Molecular Microbiology”等SCI收录的刊物上发表论文12篇。
